Volunteer Message from the Board of 80-20 Dear Friends, The United States of America is our home. For generations, Asian Americans have labored hard and often against great odds to help build our new nation. Our forebears have paid our dues with blood, sweat and tears so that many of us today can do well economically and live comfortably. Unfortunately, Asian Americans are still lagging far behind politically. Unless and until we as a community claim our voice in the body politic, we have not fulfilled the American dream as a full participant of this great nation. The baton has been passed on to our hands and it is up to us to run this last leg toward the finish line for the sake of our future generations. Nothing will happen unless all of us are willing to walk the line by putting down our investments, by volunteering our talents, skills and resources to pave the way for our future generations. We need your promise today to build a better future tomorrow. The more, the harder we are willing to work; the sooner we shall achieve our mission.
